Czech Republic | 2 | 2 | 3 | 2 | 3 | 12 | We talked about the physicality a bit more after the game. Some acknowledged that they were too physical and adjusted or attempted to. Others felt that the physicality was mutual, with a lot of bumping after they caught the disc. But they were happy with that physicality. As discussed, we would love to hear more if you have more specifics.
Tiny point we forgot to communicate: there were a lot of fast counts. When it was called the stall adjusted, but it did seem to be reoccurring problem. |
Switzerland | 2 | 2 | 2 | 2 | 3 | 11 | |
Poland | 2 | 2 | 2 | 2 | 2 | 10 | As mentioned, if you could do more self policing to respect that three meter line, that would be awesome (thumbs up emoji that the form won’t let me submit) |
Italy | 1 | 2 | 2 | 2 | 3 | 10 | We marked rules knowledge + use down slightly because we felt that in various situations your behaviour was on the line if not crossing to using the rules to your advantage. We felt this, e.g., with the fast counts and disc space. While you adjusted the stall, the behavior itself kept happening. Similarly we struggled to call the push-off fouls (partly since it didn’t impact) but this kind of contact actively provides you with an advantage which is crossing the line of the rules. Thank you! |
Ireland | 2 | 2 | 2 | 3 | 3 | 12 | We really appreciated the open lines of communication between match ups to resolve one on one issues. Always a pleasure. |

Sweden | 2 | 2 | 2 | 2 | 3 | 11 | We want to commend all of the players again for remaining calm and positive despite the negativity and aggression of your coach.
Thank you also for your calm communication despite the intensity of the game. |
Germany | 1 | 2 | 2 | 3 | 2 | 10 | We marked you down for the use of the rules more so than the knowledge (like with the reoccurring fast counts). I unfortunately misunderstood the team regarding contact throughout the game. We didn’t feel like the excess of contact in certain matchups was a category two issue but more of a rules application issue. I hope this makes sense. Thanks for a tough game. |
Belgium | 1 | 2 | 2 | 3 | 2 | 10 | We felt like there were numerous situations in which we had to explain a rule or in which your players where uncertain about the way to continue play (we had a contact and a fastcount on the mark, a foul after a D and a pick call during the throwing motion). All calls were however, resolved well and in a spirited manner.
Your positive energy towards yourself as well as our team made the match very enjoyable especially with the tired legs and in the Irish rain!
Thanks a lot! |
